Good Morning !

Day two of my coconut oil in the coffee.....
so far so good! Only one side note:  Coconut oil may make you have to go to the bathroom, so be sure you will be within reach of a toilet !

Another thing I am doing to help control the cravings that my blood sugar causes!
My body demands, yes I said demands food. I do not like it, I have never liked it.  I get this gnawing feeling now that I am on so much insulin..... I mean it is horrible, gnawing WAKE you up in the middle of the night kind of hunger pains.....

Well I can't very well get up and eat in the middle of the night,  my body NEEDS that tine of fasting whether it thinks so or not!

So the next thing I'm trying.....

{ You will have to scroll down to the 14th product & that will be the Slim & Sassy Blend }

If you know me at all, you know I signed up to get the wholesale price... which means of course I can now sell it to you also!  BUT honestly I'm not PUSHING it on my friends & family! I will share with you my experience with these oils, and if you think you are interested I would appreciate you buying from my website!

Okay so about the Slim & Sassy Blend EO

You can put it in water ( I did not love the taste in water) However I will be trying it in some carbonated water with a little stevia, to see if Ilike it that way.

Anyway, I woke up with that gnawing hunger at 5:30 in the morning,  and I wanted to sleep longer, because I was at the beach, and who gets up at 5:30 a.m. while on a mini vacation? Not this girl!!
So I got up got me a glass of water, drank it down, made my stomach hurt even more, so I thought well my slim & sassy blend says it calms your tummy, and helps curb appetite, it has ginger in it, so I know that helps tummies { one of my favorite things: ginger}, it also has peppermint in it, and other good oils, but these two are specifically for tummy issues,  so I thought well I'll try rubbing a couple of drops on my belly and go back to bed and see how it goes!  Well five drops rubbed into my tummy, did calm things down enough for me to go back to sleep until 7:30 a.m.,  so when I naturally woke up at my normal time, I was amazed.....

I no longer had that gnawing hunger, I even had time to get dressed, brush my teeth, and head downstairs for a cup of coffee, and then I had breakfast!

After breakfast,  we went to the park and did some Island shopping.....  when that gnawing hunger pain came back, I just rubbed 5 drops of the
Slim & Sassy Blend onto my tummy, and finished up our shopping, and when we did stop for lunch, I wasn't starving, & that helps me to make better choices !

I'm also giving this Slim & Sassy blend a try on my dear daughter, who is always hungry too!

{ Scroll almost to the bottom of the page to find the shakes}

We both have digestion issues, so we're also adding Digest~Zen to our regimen, but it may take some time to see the result of this.......

Stay tuned.......

Once Again ......

Good Morning!
Here I go once again on my struggle to get healthy and lose some weight!

I thought I had found my solution, to my weight issues, I was trucking along very good on it too! I lost 30 lbs right away, blood sugars weren't getting any higher, cholesterol was getting better, liver enzymes were getting better.

So a year later here I am back at square one.

What happened you ask?

Well a few changes to the product I was using, and BAM it longer helps me.

IT WORKED !  I AM PISSED !

The FDA banned the most active ingredient in it, that was the first change. I don't believe for safety reasons, I believe for patent reasons, you can't patent herbs !

So okay, it's still helping other issues, so I continue on it, then they take away two more ingredients.....  and its just not the same anymore.

As always I hop on the gravy train to late.  If I had found this product a year earlier I would be skinny by now! LOL

Next time I find something that works SO WELL, I'm hoarding up on it!

So onto the next part of my journey to get healthy......

I'm going to try some natural things that I'm hoping will help.

The first thing I am adding to my diet is coconut oil. I've been using it some, and especially in my aromatherapy concoctions to rub on myself and my daughter. It makes your skin feel SO good!  Now I'm going to take some advice my Dr. gave me a while back, and I keep seeing the same advice all over the place. SO I'm finally going to do what my Dr. told me to do several years ago! I'm "taking" several tablespoons a day to see what happens!

I have read that it will:

~ Help balance Hormones
{This has been one of my MAJOR problems throughout my life}

~ Help with Blood Sugar levels

~ Help you loose belly fat
{because of the way it helps your liver}

There's MUCH more it does for you, however these are my 3 main concerns right now!

This morning I added it to my coffee, because let's face it, a spoon full of solid coconut oil is not easy to swallow!
It's not to bad in my coffee.....
I think I can do this......

I'm also adding it to my Thai Chicken Cauliflower Soup in the crockpot for dinner!

Stay tuned & follow me, to see how it goes!

It's Almost Time ......

For Elf  On The Shelf

You know this is one of the things that we didn't have when I was growing up. I like it. It's challenging and fun.  My daughter LOVES it!

She found Elfie,  which we renamed Jingle Bells, in a small store in Surf City, NC. He was all nicely packaged up with a book and a CD.  She spotted him and it was LOVE at first sight!

So he was ONLY $5 !

We found out according to the cashier that this little guy was the original Elf on a Shelf, and the lady that invented him, did not patent him and well you know the rest.........

A different and more popular Elf on the Shelf took over.  At first I was disappointed that we didn't have the newer version of Elfie, but for $5 and a whole lot of fun, I found it didn't matter to my daughter, she thinks our Jingle Bells is special, and she wrote him a letter to tell him she hoped he came back next year. That he was the best Elf EVER!

So now I've got to remember where I put him, and bring him back around Thanksgiving.

Here are some pictures of Jingle Bells and his antics from last year!

My mother had Painted a Sparkly Christmas Tree Painting. Well we hadn't hung it on the wall yet, so Jingle Bells hung it for us, then decided to hang out in our Candy Shop, peeking out the door to admire his job well done!

He enjoyed riding the mule to visit baby Jesus! He took baby Jesus out of the barn so He could see the night stars! Jingle Bells had all the animals out of sorts!

Here Jingle Bells decided to hang out in the flowers in our daughters bathroom, and he was wearing one of her hairbands like a tutu around his neck!  Took her forever to find him!

Here Jingle Bells made a mess with her rubberbands for making rubber band jewelry! He decorated the candy tree that adorns our gingerbread house! Messy little guy!

This is the first morning Jingle Bells showed up! He had a friend Elf for our daughters cousins! Jingle Bells is in the crayons, and these two Elves ate some of the girls candy, and got into the crayons and wrote the girls a message , decorated it with stickers, and had themselves a good time!

SO it's almost time to bring Jingle Bells back! Hope I can find him.  I will be looking for things for him to do this year......  I have some ideas.......
